Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of HoneybeeMobility and of users in connection with the use of the application Garim.

Article 2. The Service

Garim is a tool that detects faces and text areas in the photos and videos you choose and covers them, entirely on your device. The app provides the following.

• Automatic detection and covering, with a sensitivity slider and a precision mode for faces that are small, far away, or moving quickly.
• Four cover styles (mosaic, blur, sticker image, solid color), three shapes (circle, oval, rectangle), and a strength control.
• Covering of text on screen such as license plates, name tags, and signs. Text areas are always covered as full rectangles.
• Choose who to reveal: hide everyone first, then tap the faces to reveal. The person is tracked, so the choice holds through the whole video.
• Manual review: add faces the detector missed on frame thumbnails and set a time range for each region.
• Manual mosaic: draw rectangles, circles, or a freeform outline yourself, with no detection at all.
• Three one-tap presets (For Social Media, For Real Estate, For Legal/Evidence), custom settings, and a bundled sample video to try detection.
• Batch processing, which queues several photos and videos, available to Garim Pro subscribers only.
• A free 30-second preview for video, and a preview of the result before you save.
• Processing history and a one-page PDF record for each job.
• Export that keeps the original audio, the original resolution, and the full length, in MOV or MP4, with an optional HEVC setting and an optional custom text watermark.

Article 3. What Is Free and What Is Paid

The app is free to download. Photos are free to process and free to save, with a small brand watermark in the corner of the result. That watermark does not appear while a Garim Pro subscription is active.

For video, the first 30 seconds are processed free as a preview. Saving a video at full length without a watermark costs 1 credit, and no credit is used while a Garim Pro subscription is active.

• Saving one video at full length with the brand watermark burned in is free once. The sample video bundled with the app is excluded from this one free save.
• Tapping the claim button on the welcome gift banner on the home screen grants 3 credits, once. Credits are not granted automatically, and the banner does not appear if you have already claimed them or if a Garim Pro subscription is active.

Article 4. Credits

Credits are consumable items used for a single job. App Store prices are US $0.99 for 1 credit, US $2.99 for 5 credits, and US $4.99 for 10 credits.

• Saving one video at full length without a watermark uses 1 credit.
• A video you have already paid for can be saved again at no further cost.
• If the export for a save is cancelled or fails, no credit is deducted.
• Credits that have been used are not restored. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Article 5. Garim Pro Subscription

Garim Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. App Store prices are US $9.99 per month and US $19.99 per year.

The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled before the current period ends, and it is billed to your Apple Account. To stop it from renewing, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in the Subscriptions section of your Apple Account in device settings. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple; we cannot process them ourselves. While the subscription is active, the following apply.

• Unlimited video saves without using credits.
• No brand watermark on photo results.
• Batch processing.

Article 6. One Purchase Across iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Garim is one app that runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Credits you buy and a Garim Pro subscription apply on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac when they use the same Apple Account.

The app requires iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or macOS 14 or later.

Article 7. License and Apple's Standard EULA

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies to the app downloaded from the App Store. Where these Terms and that agreement conflict, Apple's agreement prevails for use obtained through the App Store.

Article 8. Your Content and Your Responsibility

The photos and videos you load into the app, and the results you produce, are yours. We do not store them, do not view them, and claim no rights in them.

Automatic detection can miss a face or a piece of text depending on angle, lighting, resolution, and motion. The app is designed to cover more rather than less, but it does not guarantee that every subject is covered. Results are an aid to your work, so review them yourself before you publish or distribute anything.

You are responsible for complying with the law that applies to you, including portrait rights, privacy, consent for recording and publication, and the handling of evidence. The PDF record is a log the app generates from your own processing history; it is not a certificate or an expert appraisal.

Article 9. Prohibited Use

You must not do any of the following.

• Use the app to infringe the rights of others or to break the law.
• Alter or misuse a processed result or a PDF record in order to create a record that does not reflect what happened.
• Reverse-engineer or modify the app, or attempt to bypass purchase and credit deduction.
• Copy, distribute, or sell the app or the material included in it without permission.

Article 10. Intellectual Property

The software, design, trademarks, and text of the app belong to HoneybeeMobility. These Terms grant a right to use the app and transfer no intellectual property.

Article 11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as is. We do not warrant detection accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

We are not liable for damage arising from publishing a result you did not review, for loss of material caused by problems with your device or storage, or for damage caused by events outside our control such as natural disasters or an Apple service outage.

Where we are found liable, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to the amount you have paid for the app. Rights granted to consumers by mandatory law are not limited by this Article.

Article 12. Changes to the Terms and to the Service

If these Terms change, we publish the new text and its effective date on this page. The version shown here is the one currently in force.

We may improve or change the app's features, and we may suspend all or part of the service where operational or technical needs require it. Credits and subscriptions already purchased are handled according to Apple's policies.

Article 13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises in connection with the app, we and the user will first try to resolve it in good faith; failing that, either party may bring the matter before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
