Privacy Policy

Article 1. Information We Do Not Collect

HoneybeeMobility does not collect personal information through Garim. The app has no sign-up and no sign-in, and it does not create an account that identifies you.

The following statements describe how the app is built.

• We operate no server for the app. The app contains no network code that sends photos, videos, or processed results anywhere.
• The app includes no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK. It uses Apple's standard frameworks only.
• In the app's privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), tracking is set to false and the list of collected data types is empty.
• The app does not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, or an advertising identifier.

Article 2. Information Processed Only on Your Device

Garim uses the Apple Vision framework to analyze the photos and videos you choose, locating where faces appear and where text appears, and then covers those areas with a mosaic, blur, sticker image, or solid color. Analysis and rendering happen entirely on your device and work without a network connection.

For faces, the app computes only the rectangle on screen and the head pose. It does not build facial feature data or a biometric template, it does not match anyone against an identity, and detection results are used for that job only and are not kept afterwards.

Text on screen, such as license plates, name tags, and signs, is handled the same way: only its position is detected and the area is covered with a rectangle. The app does not store or transmit the content of that text.

Article 3. Photo Library and File Access

The only usage permission the app requests is access to your photo library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription). It is used solely to load the photos and videos you select into the app.

Results are saved through the share sheet on iPhone and iPad, and through the save panel on Mac. The app writes files only to the location you choose at that moment.

The Mac version runs in the app sandbox and reads and writes only the files you select yourself. Its network client entitlement is used only for App Store purchases and for opening policy links.

Article 4. Information the App Stores on Your Device

The app stores the following on your device only. None of it is sent to us, and we cannot access it.

• Processing history: output files, thumbnails, and a one-page PDF record are kept in the Application Support folder on your device (GarimHistory).
• Rows in the PDF record: date and time, source file name, output file name, processed length, cover style and strength, processing mode, the highest number of faces detected in one frame, the number of manual regions, whether audio was preserved, and the app version.
• Credit balance: stored in UserDefaults and verified with a Keychain signature to detect tampering.
• A flag recording whether the welcome gift of 3 credits has been claimed.
• Your settings, such as cover style, strength, detection sensitivity, and export format.

Article 5. iCloud Key-Value Storage

Your credit balance and the welcome-gift flag are synced through iCloud Key-Value Storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore) between your own devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Photos, videos, processed results, processing history, and PDF records are never uploaded to iCloud. iCloud is a service provided and operated by Apple, and Apple's privacy policy applies to the values held in that storage.

Article 6. Payments Through Apple

Credits and the Garim Pro subscription are purchased only through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never receive or store payment details such as card numbers.

Purchases and subscription status are verified on your device with StoreKit. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Article 7. Permissions We Do Not Request, and Tracking

The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, or notification permissions. Because it never handles location data, there is no location-based service agreement for this app.

The app does not track you, does not use an advertising identifier, and does not combine your data with data from other companies.

Article 8. Retention and Deletion

Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it. You can delete processing history inside the app, and deleting the app removes the data the app has stored.

Files you export to your photo library or elsewhere, PDF records you share, and watermark text you type are your own material and remain under your control.

Article 9. Third Parties

We do not share your information with third parties and do not delegate processing to them, because we hold no user information in the first place.

The only outside company involved is Apple, and only for distribution through the App Store, purchases through StoreKit, and synchronization through iCloud Key-Value Storage.

Article 10. Your Rights and Security

There is no account and we hold no personal information, so there is nothing to request access to, correction of, or deletion of from us. You can delete everything the app stores by clearing the processing history in the app or by deleting the app.

The credit balance is protected with a Keychain signature that verifies its integrity. Photos and videos never leave your device, so they are not exposed in transit.

Article 11. Children

The app collects no personal information, and therefore collects none from children. It does not ask for an age, does not request any separate information from children, and shows no advertising or tracking to them.

Article 12. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we publish the new text and its effective date on this page. The version shown here is the one currently in force.
