Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms define the rights, obligations and responsibilities of HoneybeeMobility (“we”) and of the user in connection with the app Culpix (the “app”).

If you do not agree with these terms, you can stop using the app and delete it.

2. The service

The app is a tool for organizing photos on iPhone, iPad and Mac. All analysis runs on the device, and the app requires iOS 18, iPadOS 18 or macOS 15 or later.

The app provides the following features; availability differs by device.

• Automatic grouping — bursts and look-alikes are grouped, while screenshots, documents and receipts are sorted separately.
• Best pick — the app looks at composition, exposure, sharpness, faces and closed eyes to suggest the shot to keep, and shows why it chose it.
• Face compare and split precision compare — faces from a burst placed side by side (iPhone, iPad and Mac).
• Quick swipe cleanup — sort as you swipe (iPhone and iPad).
• Storage analysis — large videos, bursts and screenshots listed by size and count, cleared in one go (iPhone and iPad).
• External storage and folder cleanup — photos on USB drives, SD cards and folders picked in Files or Finder.
• Pro Culling — review RAW and JPG one by one with pick, hold and reject, star ratings, color tags, an RGB histogram and EXIF in one place (iPad and Mac; on iPhone the app shows a hint only).
• XMP export — star ratings and color labels are exported. Proprietary RAW files get an .xmp sidecar, while JPG, HEIC, DNG and TIFF are written in the file, so Lightroom, Capture One and Bridge can read them.
• Folder export — copy or move the photos you kept, keeping RAW and JPG pairs together and renaming files by star rating.
• Geotag — coordinates you choose on the map are written into the photo’s GPS metadata.
• Cleanup history — the number of photos cleaned and the space freed, shown on the home screen (iPhone, iPad and Mac). The weekly reminder and the Siri or Shortcuts action “start photo cleanup” are available on iPhone and iPad only.

3. Your photos and your responsibility

Every photo and file the app touches is yours. We claim no rights over your photos and we keep no copy of them.

The best shot the app picks and the photos it proposes to remove are suggestions. Deleting and moving happen only after you confirm them, and the result is your responsibility.

Photos deleted from the photo library go to the system “Recently Deleted” album and can be restored for 30 days; files in folders and on external drives are moved to the system Trash. Favorites and the albums you mark as protected are excluded from cleanup automatically.

Please keep a separate backup of photos that matter to you before you start cleaning.

4. Free trial

The app is free to download and gives you every feature without limits for 7 days from the first launch. The trial requires no payment method and no account.

When 2 days or less remain, or once the trial has expired, the app grants one further 7 days unconditionally. This extension is granted once only and is not granted again if you delete and reinstall the app, so the trial lasts at most 14 days in total.

When the trial ends the app locks completely. From that point you need the in-app purchase described in article 5, or a restore of a purchase you already made, to keep using the app.

Trial state is stored on your device and is never sent to us.

5. Purchase and refunds

“Unlock Everything” (product id com.culpix.pro.unlock) is a non-consumable in-app purchase paid once. It unlocks every feature permanently; there is no renewal and no further charge.

The price is ₩12,000 in the Korean App Store and US $7.99 in the United States App Store. The amount you actually pay follows the local currency shown by the App Store in your region.

Culpix is a universal purchase: iPhone, iPad and Mac share one app record. A single purchase opens all three devices when you use the same Apple Account, and after changing devices you can bring it back with “Restore purchase” in the app.

The purchase is eligible for Apple Family Sharing, so members of your family group can use it as well.

Because payment goes through the App Store, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and procedures. We receive no payment details.

Users who bought the app while it was a paid app, before 12 July 2026 (KST), keep using it with no trial period and no paywall.

6. Your obligations

Use the app only on photos and files you have the right to handle.

Reverse engineering the app, copying, distributing or modifying it without permission, and circumventing the purchase process are not allowed.

You may not use the app for any purpose that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided as it is. It is a tool that helps you organize photos and does not guarantee a particular result or a particular amount of storage freed.

We are not liable for the consequences of deletions, moves or metadata writes that you carried out yourself, nor for the absence of a backup, except where damage results from our intent or gross negligence.

We are not liable for problems caused by changes to or interruptions of services provided by Apple, such as the operating system, the App Store or Apple’s map service.

8. Changes and discontinuation

We may add or change features to improve the app, and a change in operating system policy may limit some features.

We may discontinue the app. In-app purchases already made are then handled under Apple’s refund policy.

When these terms change we publish the new text and its effective date on this page.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and the use of the app are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Any dispute between us and a user is brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
