Article 1. Purpose and Acceptance

These Terms define the rights, obligations and responsibilities of HoneybeeMobility and of the user in connection with convert it! (the "app").

By downloading, installing or using the app you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

The app creates no account, so there is no sign-up step and no separate contract to conclude.

Article 2. The Service

The app converts images between JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, PDF and TIFF, resizes them by percentage, processes several images in one run, covers faces, composites camera data into a frame, removes EXIF and location data, applies a filename rule, exports to the Photos app, the Files app, Finder or the share sheet, packs two or more results into a single ZIP archive, and provides the Convert Image action for Shortcuts and Spotlight.

The app is paid up front and costs $2.99. It is a universal purchase covering iPhone, iPad and Mac, so one Apple Account can install it on all three.

You pay once. There is nothing further to buy inside the app and no recurring charge. No feature is locked behind a tier: buying the app gives you all of it. The app must be purchased before it can be used, and no reduced or sample edition is offered.

The app requires iOS 17, iPadOS 17 or macOS 14 or later. HoneybeeMobility may update the app to improve features, fix defects or follow changes in the operating system.

Article 3. Purchase, Refunds and Apple's Agreement

The app is sold and paid for through the App Store, which Apple operates. The amount actually charged is shown by the App Store in your own region and currency.

Cancellations and refunds follow Apple's policies and procedures, and a refund must be requested from Apple. HoneybeeMobility has no access to your payment method or purchase history and therefore cannot issue a refund directly.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. Where these Terms and that agreement conflict, Apple's agreement prevails to the extent of the conflict.

These Terms are between you and HoneybeeMobility only. Apple is not responsible for the app or for user support.

Article 4. Permitted and Prohibited Use

You may install the app on your own devices and use it for personal or professional work. HoneybeeMobility grants you a right to use the app; it does not transfer its rights in the app.

You may not do any of the following.

• Copy, redistribute, resell or rent the app, or include it in another product without permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify the app beyond what the applicable law allows.
• Use the app or any part of it to infringe the intellectual property rights of HoneybeeMobility or of a third party.
• Use the app for a purpose that breaks the law, including infringing another person's portrait rights or personal information.

Article 5. Your Content and Your Responsibility

The images you bring into the app and the results it produces belong to you or to their rightful owner. HoneybeeMobility never receives that material and claims no rights in it.

Face covering acts on automatic detection, so it can miss a face or cover only part of one. EXIF and location removal applies only when you have turned that setting on. Check a result yourself before you publish it or pass it on.

Consent for a person's image, protection of personal information and the handling of evidentiary material remain your responsibility when you publish or use a result.

Keep your own copy of the originals in case a file is lost during conversion or saving.

Article 6. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Notice

The app and the software, design, trademarks and documents it contains belong to HoneybeeMobility or to their rightful owners.

The app includes libwebp, an open-source library, to handle the WebP format. libwebp is distributed under the BSD 3-Clause licence and its copyright belongs to its original authors.

Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Shortcuts and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Article 7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided as it is. HoneybeeMobility does not warrant that it will run without error on every file and in every environment, or that it fits a particular purpose.

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, HoneybeeMobility is not liable for indirect, special or consequential damage arising from use of the app. To the extent the applicable law allows, its liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Nothing in this Article limits the rights that consumer protection law gives you.

HoneybeeMobility is not responsible when a feature becomes unavailable for reasons outside its control, such as a natural disaster or a change in the operating system or the App Store.

Article 8. Ending Your Use

You may end your use at any time by deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app also removes the settings stored on it.

If you breach these Terms, the right of use granted under them ends.

Anything to do with the purchase amount after use ends follows Apple's policies, as set out in Article 3.

Article 9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea.

If a dispute arises, HoneybeeMobility and the user will try in good faith to resolve it. If no agreement is reached, either party may bring the matter before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

Article 10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be revised when the law changes or when the service changes.

Revised Terms are published in full on this page with their effective date shown at the top of the document. They apply from that effective date, and continuing to use the app after it means you accept them.
