꿀벌모빌리티(이하 ‘회사’)가 제공하는 Vellum은 보안 문서(HTML·PDF)를 기기 안에서 열어 보는 뷰어 앱입니다. 회원가입이 없고, 회사 서버가 없으며, 이름·전화번호·이메일·계정 등 어떤 개인정보도 수집하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다. 이용자가 여는 문서와 입력하는 비밀번호는 전적으로 이용자의 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다. 광고·추적·분석 도구를 사용하지 않습니다. 본 방침은 어떤 정보가 어떻게 다뤄지는지 투명하게 안내합니다.
제1조 회사가 수집하지 않는 정보
회사는 서비스 제공을 위한 어떠한 개인정보도 서버에서 수집·저장하지 않습니다. 구체적으로 다음을 수집하지 않습니다.
- 이름·전화번호·이메일·생년월일·주소 등 직접 식별 정보 (회원가입 자체가 없습니다)
- 위치 정보 (앱은 위치 권한을 사용하지 않습니다)
- 광고 식별자(IDFA/광고 ID), 사용 행태·분석 데이터 (광고·분석 SDK를 탑재하지 않습니다)
- 이용자가 여는 문서의 내용 및 문서 비밀번호
제2조 기기 안에서만 처리되는 정보 (서버 미전송)
앱 기능을 위해 아래 정보가 이용자 기기 안에서만 처리·저장됩니다. 회사 서버로 전송되지 않으며 회사는 이에 접근할 수 없습니다.
- 이용자가 여는 문서·보관 목록 — 이용자가 연 보안 명세서·PDF 및 그 보관 목록·즐겨찾기·분류는 앱 보관함(기기 내 저장 영역, 또는 이용자 본인 iCloud Drive)에 저장됩니다(제4조).
- 문서 비밀번호 — 보안 문서를 열 때 입력하는 비밀번호는 문서 자체의 스크립트가 기기 안에서 처리합니다. 앱은 이 비밀번호를 저장하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 앱 잠금 비밀번호 — 이용자가 ‘앱 잠금’을 설정한 경우, 비밀번호는 평문이 아닌 단방향 해시(SHA‑256) 형태로 기기 내 설정 저장소에만 저장됩니다. 원문 비밀번호는 어디에도 저장되지 않습니다.
- 생체 인증(Face ID/Touch ID) — 앱 잠금에 생체 인증을 사용하는 경우, 생체정보는 운영체제(보안 영역)가 처리하며 앱은 생체정보 자체에 접근하지 않고 인증 성공/실패 결과만 전달받습니다.
- 환경설정 — 화면 모드(라이트/다크), 자동 정리 기간, 앱 전환 시 내용 가림 등 설정값.
제3조 문서 표시 방식
Vellum은 문서를 기기 안의 격리된 표시 화면(WebView/PDF 뷰어)에서 있는 그대로 보여 줍니다. 비밀번호 입력과 복호화는 문서 자체의 스크립트 또는 시스템 PDF 기능이 기기 안에서 수행하며, 회사는 그 과정과 결과에 관여하거나 이를 수집하지 않습니다. 문서 표시 화면은 쿠키·캐시 등을 남기지 않는 일회성(비영구) 세션으로 동작합니다.
앱 자체는 이용자의 문서나 비밀번호를 외부로 전송하지 않습니다. 다만 일부 문서는 그 내부에 외부 자원(이미지 등)에 대한 참조를 포함할 수 있으며, 이는 문서 자체의 구성에 따른 것입니다. 회사는 이러한 외부 참조를 통해 이용자 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
제4조 iCloud 동기화 (선택)
이용자의 기기에서 iCloud Drive가 켜져 있는 경우, 보관한 문서가 이용자 본인의 iCloud 계정에 동기화·백업되어 기기 변경 시 복원될 수 있습니다. 이는 Apple이 제공하는 이용자 본인 계정의 기능으로 회사 서버를 거치지 않으며, 회사는 해당 데이터에 접근할 수 없습니다. iCloud Drive를 끄면 문서는 해당 기기에만 저장됩니다.
제5조 보유 및 파기
- 기기 내 문서·보관 목록·설정은 이용자가 앱에서 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
- 이용자가 ‘자동 정리’(예: 30·60·90일)를 설정한 경우, 지정 기간이 지난 보관 항목은 기기에서 자동으로 삭제됩니다.
- 회사는 서버에 보관하는 이용자 개인정보가 없으므로, 회사 측에 파기할 개인정보가 존재하지 않습니다.
제6조 결제 정보
Vellum은 Apple App Store에서 유료로 판매되며, 결제는 Apple App Store가 처리합니다. 회사는 카드번호 등 결제 수단 정보를 수집·보관하지 않습니다. 앱 내 추가 구매(인앱 구매)나 구독은 없습니다.
제7조 제3자 제공 및 처리 위탁
회사는 수집하는 개인정보가 없으므로 이를 제3자에게 제공하거나 처리를 위탁하지 않습니다. 서비스 이용에는 다음 Apple 기능이 수반될 수 있습니다.
- Apple — 앱 판매·결제 처리, 이용자 본인 iCloud Drive 저장·백업(이용자 계정), 앱 평점 요청 표시. 어느 경우에도 회사는 이용자의 개인정보에 접근하지 않습니다.
광고·분석·통계 등 어떠한 제3자 SDK도 사용하지 않습니다.
제8조 아동의 개인정보
본 서비스는 특정 연령층을 대상으로 개인정보를 수집하지 않으며, 앞서 밝힌 대로 어떤 개인정보도 서버에서 수집하지 않습니다.
제9조 이용자의 권리
이용자는 기기 내 데이터를 앱 안에서 직접 열람·삭제할 수 있습니다. 회사가 서버에 보관하는 이용자 개인정보가 없으므로 회사를 상대로 한 열람·정정·삭제 요청의 대상이 되는 데이터는 존재하지 않습니다. 본 방침이나 처리 방식에 관한 문의는 아래 이메일로 접수해 주시기 바랍니다.
제10조 안전성 확보 조치
이용자의 데이터는 기기 안에서 처리·저장되고 회사 서버로 전송되지 않으므로, 전송 구간에서의 유출 위험이 구조적으로 최소화됩니다. 앱 잠금 비밀번호는 단방향 해시로만 저장되며 원문은 보관하지 않습니다.
제11조 정책 변경 고지
본 방침이 변경되는 경우 앱 또는 본 페이지를 통해 고지하며, 변경 시 ‘최종 개정일’을 갱신합니다.

Vellum, provided by HoneybeeMobility (the “Company”), is a viewer app that opens secure documents (HTML and PDF) on your device. There is no sign‑up, there is no Company server, and we do not collect or transmit any personal information such as your name, phone number, email or account. The documents you open and the passwords you enter are processed entirely on your own device. We use no ads, tracking or analytics tools. This policy explains transparently what information is handled and how. In case of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.
1. Information we do NOT collect
The Company collects and stores no personal information on any server. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Directly identifying information such as name, phone number, email, date of birth or address (there is no account system at all).
- Location data (the app does not use location permissions).
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA/Ad ID) or usage/analytics data (no ad or analytics SDKs are included).
- The contents of the documents you open, or your document passwords.
2. Information processed only on your device (never sent to a server)
The following is processed and stored only on your device. It is not sent to any Company server, and the Company cannot access it.
- Documents you open & your library — The secure statements and PDFs you open, along with your library list, favorites and categories, are stored in the app’s on‑device storage (or your own iCloud Drive, see §4).
- Document passwords — Passwords you enter to open a secure document are handled by the document’s own script, on your device. The app neither stores nor transmits them.
- App‑lock passcode — If you enable App Lock, the passcode is stored on device only as a one‑way hash (SHA‑256), never as plain text.
- Biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID) — If used for App Lock, biometric data is handled by the operating system’s secure subsystem; the app never accesses biometric data itself and receives only a success/failure result.
- Preferences — Appearance (light/dark), auto‑cleanup period, hide‑content‑on‑switch, and similar settings.
3. How documents are displayed
Vellum shows documents as‑is in an isolated on‑device view (a WebView / PDF viewer). Password entry and decryption are performed on your device by the document’s own script or the system PDF facility; the Company is not involved in and does not collect any of this. The display session is ephemeral (non‑persistent) and leaves no cookies or cache.
The app itself does not transmit your documents or passwords. Note that some documents may, by their own construction, reference external resources (such as images); this is a property of the document. The Company does not collect any user information through such external references.
4. iCloud sync (optional)
If iCloud Drive is enabled on your device, saved documents may sync and back up to your own iCloud account so they can be restored when you change devices. This is an Apple feature tied to your own account; it does not pass through any Company server, and the Company cannot access this data. If iCloud Drive is off, documents are stored only on that device.
5. Retention & deletion
- On‑device documents, library and settings are deleted when you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
- If you enable “auto‑cleanup” (e.g. 30/60/90 days), saved items older than the chosen period are deleted automatically from the device.
- Because the Company stores no user personal information on any server, there is no Company‑side personal information to delete.
6. Payment information
Vellum is sold as a paid app on the Apple App Store, and payment is processed by the Apple App Store. The Company does not collect or store payment‑method information such as card numbers. There are no in‑app purchases or subscriptions.
7. Third‑party provision & processing
As the Company collects no personal information, it does not provide any to third parties or delegate its processing. Use of the service may involve the following Apple features:
- Apple — app sale/payment processing, storage/backup to your own iCloud Drive (your account), and the app‑rating prompt. In none of these does the Company access your personal information.
No third‑party advertising, analytics or statistics SDKs are used.
8. Children’s privacy
The service does not collect personal information from any age group and, as stated, collects no personal information on any server.
9. Your rights
You can view and delete on‑device data directly within the app. Because the Company holds no user personal information on any server, there is no Company‑held data subject to access, correction or deletion requests. 10. Security measures
Your data is processed and stored on your device and is not transmitted to any Company server, structurally minimizing the risk of leakage in transit. The App‑Lock passcode is stored only as a one‑way hash; the original is never retained.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will give notice through the app or this page and update the “Last updated” date.
